Robert Watts

Robert Watts is an early adopter of emerging technologies, and his diverse experience has spanned multiple sectors of entertainment including the agency, management and content development sides of the industry. At Light Sail VR he leverages his wide spectrum of creative and operational capabilities to craft premium-level narratives and characters that engage audiences and fulfill client needs. His ability to understand the innovative power of the immersive space has attracted a roster of top tier clients.
Alex Pearce

Alex oversees the technical side of Light Sail VR including virtual production, photo-real visual effects, 3D pre-visualization as well as augmenting 360 video and real-time game engine development efforts. Alex's many years of experience as an industry thought leader has enabled his success with major clients including Apple, Google, United Airlines, Kia, VMware and the NFL, to name a few.
Dirk Wallace

With over 25 years of video production experience, Dirk entered the VR/360 world in 2015, focusing on documentary style live-action captures and immersive broadcast livestreams. With a background in live network television, including MTV, and a decade directing concerts and livestreamed events in Asia, he offers a diverse skill set to Light Sail VR. Dirk is also enthusiastic about harnessing VR’s potential in education and prisoner rehabilitation, believing in its transformative power.
Josh Helfferich
Post Production Manager
In 2020, Josh joined Light Sail as our Post Production Manager, bringing his wide range of skills in post-production, art, design, motion graphics, and technical implementation to our team. Hailing from Mr. Rogers' neighborhood in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, Josh has been working in Los Angeles as an editor, director, and visual effects artist for over twelve years. He's a modern day jack-of-all-trades and can make anything pretty.
Alessio Marciello
Virtual Production Specialist
Alessio's journey into the 3D realm began as he realized the immense potential of blending his storytelling prowess with the endless possibilities offered by computer-generated imagery. By combining his background in acting and directing with his technical skills, he has developed a unique ability to breathe life into characters, environments, and narratives. Though he specializes in Unreal Engine, he is a 3D and filmmaking generalist at heart.
Anthony Morales
Information Technology Manager
With over a decade of experience, Anthony has managed and optimized multiple IT systems across the retail/restaurant and tech industries. His ever present curiosity and adaptability have allowed him to stay up-to-date with the constantly evolving tech landscape. He is a customer focused and versatile problem-solver. Born in Guatemala, Anthony grew up in Southern California, where he enjoys gaming and playing guitar in his free time.
